Veteran journalist, Chrispin Inambao was laid to rest at Mugwala village in the Bukalo area of the Zambezi Region. Inambao, aged 50, started work back in 1991 as a journalist for the Namibia Press Agency in the Zambezi Region. He later joined The Namibian newspaper in Windhoek in 1997 and worked there until 2003. He then moved to the New Era where he was offered employment as acting assistant editor, and later confirmed in that position. Inambao climbed the ladder to become the editor at the State-owned newspaper, a position he held until his passing. He is survived by four children. He died on 3 December after a long battle with cancer.
