Namibia is the only African country that exports beef to China. nbc's Reporter Selima Henock engaged Namibia's Ambassador to China, Elia Kaiyamo, on this and some of his success stories since his posting.

"One of my successes is bringing beef to China.  If you notice, we are bringing many students here to study, especially now that COVID is over. So we were standing by the agreement between China and Namibia to bring students here to study so they could go back and apply their knowledge. On the other hand, China has helped us, especially during the time of COVID-19, by making medicines, and they took these medicines themselves from China to our desperate countries. Hence, we remain thankful to the Chinese government for this help. The imperialists make a lot of noise, but they're not helping us."
