The Chief Patriot of the Independent Patriots of Change (IPC) says the party is ready to take over come next year's national elections.

Dr. Panduleni Itula gave this assurance at the party's National High-Level Planning meeting in Windhoek.

The National High-Level Planning meeting was aimed at discussing the 2024 election campaign strategies.

"The elections will be pronounced, and we are ready to march in the statehouse, this is why we have created a document called the Presidential Transitional Arrangement and we will send it to the statehouse, we say time is up can you tell us how you will handover? We are ready."

Dr. Itula also noted that they have strategic plans in place on how to address the land question and genocide.

"We have to invest heavily in agriculture. My people have a strategy on fine lines on how to implement but now it's not the time to expand on them except to say we have N$600 billion that we will unleash for the development of Namibia."

He noted that his government if put into power would not compromise on its values and principles.

Dr. Itula further reminded the party members of the importance of unity.

"Unity among our people is critical to the success of this party, we led this party for two and a half years now and it is still united because it is critical to bringing about success in this country."

IPC's National High-Level Planning Meeting was attended by National Executive Councils of Patriots and leaders from different regions.
