The Public Enterprises CEO's Forum conducted a courtesy visit to Shamalindi Primary School at Grootfontein, in the Otjozondjupa Region, where they donated N$100,000.

Established in 2003, Shamalindi Primary School currently has four teachers and a total of 52 learners.

This number is considerably lower than the previous enrollment, which exceeded 80 learners. The increase in dropout rates has contributed to the decline in the number of learners at the school.

Representatives from school management and learners received the donation.

The school currently lacks a hostel facility for learners, which presents a significant challenge as students have to walk long distances from surrounding farms.

This keeps many children from regular school attendance.
