Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has donated essential items worth N$700,000 to boarding schools across the country.

According to Nelson Ashipala, Corporate Communications Manager at NWR, the schools to benefit are yet to be identified.

In addition to the donations, NWR is investing N$500,000 in school gardens.

By creating these gardens, NWR hopes to foster sustainable agricultural practises and encourage hands-on learning experiences for students.

Rochester Mushabati, the Chief Education Officer of the Namibia Institute for Educational Development Support, received the donation on behalf of the ministry.

To ensure efficient distribution, the bed linen, also part of the donation, will be distributed with the assistance of the governors' offices throughout the country.
