The High Court has postponed the judgement in the Xinfeng Investments challenge to tomorrow.

The Chinese company is challenging the withdrawal of its mining licence by the Minister of Mines and Energy, Tom Alweendo.

Xinfeng has approached the Windhoek High Court on an urgent basis, asking the Court to nullify the minister's decision with immediate effect.

Alweendo has revoked the mining licence, alleging that Xinfeng was not honest in some parts of the application process.

High Court Judge Ramon Maasdorp was expected to deliver his judgement this afternoon (Monday) in the Windhoek High Court.

The judgement was, however, not yet ready.
