The JP Brandt Primary School hostel, located at Utuseb in the Namib desert, has undergone a facelift worth N$1.2 million.
Principal Anna Josti says since it was built 45 years ago, no major renovations have been done on the school and hostel, located 40 kilometres from Walvis Bay.
Rossing Uranium, Pack Safari, Rent a Drum, NIMT and Namdock are among the companies that sponsored the renovations of the dining hall, dormitory blocks, school garden, and the construction of a playground and boundary wall.
