As part of its social responsibility, Swakop Uranium Foundation assisted Nossobville Primary School in the Kalahari Constituency of the Omaheke Region with N$100,000 for the construction of a school hall.

The hall will host various activities that have been lacking at the school, such as general school meetings and the end-of-year examinations, among others.

The school principal at Nossobville Primary School, Uapeua Ueitele, says that the construction of a school hall with assistance from Samaritans such as the Swakop Uranium Foundation is a milestone achievement.

Ueitele also urged other business entities to come on board and assist with school development in the country.

On his part, the chairperson of the Swakop Uranium Foundation, Percy MacCallum, stressed that the foundation is determined and always willing to assist needy community members.

With cash assistance at hand, the school hall is set to be completed before the end of the year.
