190 people at Malengalenga in Linyanti district joined the Swapo Party from other political parties.

The members were received by Swapo Party Secretary General Sofia Shaningwa on Saturday late afternoon at Malengalenga. 

Most of the members came from the Independence Patriots for Change (IPC), while others supported an independent candidate during the last elections. 

The returning members said they were back home to the party of their forefathers, fathers, mothers, and brothers.

The happy Swapo Party Secretary General advised the members to always engage their leaders in times of misunderstandings and instruct them to do the right thing for the members.

Shaningwa stressed that running away from the party because of misunderstandings is not a way to resolve misunderstandings and other challenges as a family.
