School learners and students in Windhoek were encouraged to believe in their potential as future leaders and to explore career opportunities that may open them to a better future.
These were the words of encouragement shared by the Chief Executive Officer at Cenored, Fessor Mbango, during the annual NUST Career Fair.
Mbango says the career fair provides a platform for skill display and connection among students and faculty staff, as well as different corporate organisations and government agencies.
He says the platform creates opportunities for students, including internships and employment at various organisations.
NUST's acting Vice Chancellor, Andrew Niikondo, says the career fair aims to empower future generations and expose them to the right career path.
He mentioned that this year, more exhibitors are attending the NUST career fair and have received schools from Omaheke and Hardap Regions.
Exhibitors such as PWC Namibia, Cenored, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, the Social Security Commission, the Ministry of Justice, and Employment Creation took part in the career fair.
The career fair was held under the theme "A road map to success through career choices."
