NUST Career Fair provides a platform for skills display and networking

School learners and students in Windhoek were encouraged to believe in their potential as future leaders and to explore career opportunities that may open them to a better future. 

These were the words of encouragement shared by the Chief Executive Officer at Cenored, Fessor Mbango, during the annual NUST Career Fair.

Mbango says the career fair provides a platform for skill display and connection among students and faculty staff, as well as different corporate organisations and government agencies. 

Rosh Pinah career fair described a success

A Career Fair at Rosh Pinah, aimed at providing opportunities to learners and the youth at the mining town to help them make informed decisions about career choices, was described as a success.

The event is a collaborative effort between RoshSkor Township, schools in Rosh Pinah, and institutions of higher learning.

Professionals and lecturers from UNAM and NUST engaged learners on their current career choices, while learners had the opportunity to pose questions during the one-day mini-career fair.

The institution's career fair, which is expected annually, aims at introducing and promoting possible careers to the learners and, at the same time, exposing them to various fields.

The fair is an experience for learners from different schools in the capital with different experts from various institutes to provide a deeper understanding and knowledge when choosing a career.
