The Ambassador of China paid a courtesy visit to President Nangolo Mbumba, updating the head of state on developments between the two countries.
President Mbumba assured the ambassador of Namibia's continued commitment to solid relations with China.
Dr. Mbumba emphasised that his goal was to ensure that what the late President Hage Geingob had started would be seen through to its end, saying Namibia-China relations counted among those priorities.
The President also touched on the future of collaboration, considering projects currently in the pipeline between the two nations.
Ambassador Zhao Weiping spoke on how the two countries mean to support one another in issues of mutual interest and in ongoing projects that relate to China's investment in education and vocational programmes.
