To bridge the gap in coaching education, the A-licence refresher course, which took place in Windhoek, marked a significant update since the participants' last class in 2014.

The A-licence refresher course aimed to bring the latest coaching techniques and knowledge to local coaches. We spoke with Jacky Shipanga, the only female participant out of 17, about the significance of this course for the development of Namibian coaches.

 The refresher course has been met with enthusiasm from the participants, who are keen to incorporate the new strategies into their coaching practices. Woody Jacobs, a holder of a CAF diploma, shared his thoughts on the value of the course. 

With the guidance of experienced instructors and the support of the NFA, this initiative is expected to significantly enhance the quality of coaching in the country.
