The International University of Management (IUM) and the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) have signed an MoU that will enable IUM students to work with NamRA officials to conduct research and data analysis.

The strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration in teaching, education, and research while simultaneously strengthening institutional capacity and knowledge sharing in revenue laws and related fields.

The five-year partnership will allow students to gain exposure through hands-on analysis of regulatory data, equipping them to become future leaders in governance and innovation.

Commissioner at NamRA, Sam Shivute, said the agreement will enable the two entities to work together in finding solutions that will help the country move forward and achieve shared prosperity.

Shivute added that the revenue agency is looking forward to students carrying out joint research as well as data research with NamRA, generating regulatory information.
