The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has recently introduced club licensing requirements for clubs and today hosted its first-ever club licensing workshop.

The workshop targeted the country's top-tier teams in the Premier League and Super Leagues. Two CAF instructors led the session.

Matthew Haikali explained the significance of this development for Namibian football.

The CAF Club Licensing requirements enable the parallel development and comparison of clubs by ensuring compliance with financial, sporting, legal, administrative, and infrastructural criteria set by FIFA and CAF

This new licensing system marks a significant milestone for Namibian football. It provides teams with a platform to showcase their talent while meeting international standards.

Moreover, it offers opportunities for gaining invaluable experience on the continental stage, enhancing competitiveness and visibility in African football.
