The Namibian government closely monitors the ongoing riots and unrest in several UK cities, including London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Sunderland, Manchester, Hull, and Bristol.

"We advise all Namibian citizens currently in the UK and those planning to travel to the UK, to exercise extreme caution and avoid areas where protests and riots occur. If you are in an affected area, please take the following precautions: Stay indoors and avoid going out unless absolutely necessary; keep away from large gatherings and demonstrations; be vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times; Stay informed of the latest developments by monitoring local media; Follow the instructions of local authorities and police," said the acting Executive Director in the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, Sabine Böhlke-Möller.

Namibians in the UK are strongly encouraged to register with the Namibian High Commission to receive timely information and support in an emergency. The High Commission can be
