Murder convict Jandre Dippenaar was sentenced to 15 years in prison for killing six people in a car accident near Henties Bay in 2014.

Magistrate Gaynor Poulton further sentenced Dippenaar to two years, or N$8,000, for reckless driving and N$2,000 or three years in prison for driving without a valid license.

Jan-Karl Horn, who lost his son in the accident, and Antonio Joschko, who lost her parents and her sibling, reacted with relief to the sentence, which, for them, signifies the end of this chapter.
