Quintina Tjizumaue scooped the Miss Non-Governmental Organisation title at a glittery event in the capital.
Romancia Seibes came out as the first runner-up, followed by Celither Baldwin.
Tjizumaue, in her new role, will serve as the ambassador of all local NGOs and civil society organisations.
Miss NGO will also promote sexual and reproductive health as well as raise awareness of HIV and AIDS and combat teenage pregnancy.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, as a key guest at the event, endorsed her ambassadorship.
Professor Peter Katjavivi said the gathering celebrates the talent of young Namibians who are driven by ambition with action.
He further encouraged young people not only to have dreams but to be determined to carry them out.
"Miss NGO Namibia is redefining what a beauty pageant can be. It's not just about wearing a crown but about carrying a mission. The pageant offers young people and young women a platform to contribute to Namibia's society and economic development. This initiative is a powerful testament to what focused, determined individuals can achieve when given the opportunity. The funds raised from this event support vital programmes such as helping teenage mothers return to school and community outreach efforts aimed at preventing HIV and AIDS."
Tjizumaue will represent Namibia in Kenya next year.
