The 7th Africa Tourism Leadership Forum and Awards started in Gaborone, Botswana, on Monday, under the theme "Charting a new path forward for intra-Africa Travel, Tourism, and Investment."
The forum aims to generate discussions on tourism and the role of creative and cultural services in Africa to highlight the opportunities and identify challenges and barriers to unlock the potential of the tourism sector.
Today experts gathered to share experiences in terms of meeting the changing needs in the tourism sector and network and learn new trends as the industry continues to grow.

Kojo Bentum-Williams, the UN World Tourism Organisation's Senior Expert on Communications in Africa, explained the significance of the summit, which ends on Friday.
