The Outapi Town Council, in conjunction with the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development, has invested over N$11 million in infrastructure development and upgrades. This investment aims to improve services for residents and visitors.

The infrastructure includes water and sewer supply, electricity infrastructure, road development, sanitation facilities, and effective waste management. These improvements are crucial for achieving the council's strategic goals.

Several informal settlements, including Tobias Hainyeko, Okakwaka-Nakale, Nakayale Extension two, Oukwa-wananyanga, and Okayekongwe, will benefit from these infrastructure projects.

During the handover, Urban and Rural Development Minister Erastus Uutoni stated that councilors should continually strive to make positive and tangible developments during their tenures, benefiting the lives of the electorate.

The projects were officially inaugurated in the town of Outapi.
