Former fishermen of Arcticnam Fishing and NAMSOV, known as Group 73, held a peaceful demonstration this morning in Walvis Bay and submitted a petition to Alex Krov, Director of Shore Recruit, expressing their dissatisfaction with management’s treatment.

Their requests include payment for accumulated leave days, as they seek compensation for all unused leave. They also demand severance payments based on their years of service and request a payout for their notice period to ensure a smooth transition to Overberg Fishing without any outstanding payments.

The fishermen hope that their concerns will be addressed promptly to facilitate their upcoming move.
