Julinho Sporting has announced a merger with Girls & Goals from the Women's Super League and the Athletic Club Football Academy.

The merged club will be known as Julinho Athletic Football Club.

Girls & Goals and Athletic Club Football Academy welcomed the merger with Julinho Sporting, sharing their future ambitions for their respective clubs as part of the partnership.

Julinho's chairperson added that this was a collective decision aimed at growing and developing the team's presence countrywide.

The newly appointed chairperson of Julinho Athletic Football Club, Miguel Hamutenya, expressed his excitement about the merger and highlighted the club's vision.

Hamutenya will also be the owner of Girls & Goals FC  from the FNB Women's Super League.

With the new partnership, Julinho Athletic Football Club will now boast a record of nine teams competing in different Namibian football streams, with 500 players signed under the club.

At the announcement, the incoming chairperson, Miguel Hamutenya, also revealed a new logo as well as a sponsorship of N$1.2 million for the Sports Club, amounting to N$300,000 per year.
