The Namib War 2 Championships, hosted by Ring Contact Fighting Arts Namibia at the Wanderers Sport Club in Windhoek, featured a highly anticipated clash between South Africa's Gerhard Van Der Westhuizen and Namibia's Wynand Coertzen.

Unfortunately, Coertzen's shoulder injury forced the bout to end.

The Intercontinental Full Contact High Kick Super Welterweight title fight lived up to expectations, with Coertzen and Van Der Westhuizen showcasing powerful kicks and aggressive techniques. 

However, the bout was prematurely ended in the third round when Coertzen suffered a painful shoulder dislocation.

Despite Van Der Westhuizen's dominance, Coertzen demonstrated remarkable resilience, briefly continuing after medical intervention. 

But the injury proved too severe, forcing him to concede.

Van Der Westhuizen, a Pretoria-based fighter, expressed his confidence in securing the victory throughout the fight.

Coertzen, visibly disappointed, vowed to seek a rematch to reclaim the opportunity he felt was taken from him.

Although Coertzen's night ended in disappointment, the Namib War 2 Championships showcased thrilling action and further solidified Namibia's reputation in the world of combat sports. 

The rivalry between Coertzen and Van Der Westhuizen is sure to continue
