The green hydrogen development near Lüderitz is not merely an energy initiative but a catalyst to socio-economic transformation. 

||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick said this while addressing Oranjemund residents at an information sharing session on the green hydrogen project held in collaboration with Hyphen. 

The primary aim of the engagement was to provide an overview of the green hydrogen project and delve into the socio-economic development (SED) framework.

This framework outlines how Namibians can benefit from various opportunities that will arise from this project. 

A similar information session was held at Karasburg and Warmbad.
