The National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) unveiled its election manifesto in Otjinene, Omaheke Region, with a promise to create over 200,000 jobs.

Despite a delayed start and windy conditions, NUDO supporters eagerly anticipated the party’s vision for Namibia.

The 24-page manifesto outlines a series of commitments to the electorate, which the party describes as a "genuine pledge to Namibians."

The manifesto focuses on sustainable economic development, aiming to generate decent jobs and promote vibrant entrepreneurship.

NUDO projects that it will create over 200,000 jobs through various initiatives and projects.

NUDO's Secretary General, Josef Kauandenge, launched the manifesto under the theme "Towards an Inclusive Namibia for All."

Key promises include a basic income grant of N$1,000 for individuals aged 18-59, a 5% annual increase in the old age pension, and a 10% increase for orphans.

The manifesto also addresses the issue of ancestral land rights, pledging to restitute land lost due to colonial dispossession and genocide, and to abolish foreign land ownership.

NUDO has long championed a fair and open society, seeking to balance liberty, equality, and community while tackling poverty.

The party remains committed to addressing social injustices, economic imbalances, and the concentration of power among elites in governance.

NUDO stands firm in its slogan, "One People, One Aim, One Destiny," promoting unity regardless of race, background, or religion.
