Voters' education in the Hardap Region is 90% completed throughout all eight constituencies.
Rehoboth residents showed up in numbers to attend the voters' education exercise presented by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN).
Voters' education plays a vital role for eligible voters who will be casting their votes come November 27.
The Hardap Region Voter Education Officer, Paul Pieters, said that the community of Rehoboth is ready for elections and has shown interest in the ECN voters' education.
"We are giving out flyers for the upcoming election. We teach the people the correct way to make a cross. The correct way to vote. How to vote, the way to vote, and the time for the polling station. We tell them the nearest places they can go. And yes, I see that the community of this town is ready. They are so interested in what ECN is disseminating."
Although they find difficulty with transport issues, Pieters said they are looking at covering Mariental next week.
"Some of our cars are old, and yes, one can understand. We are going to faraway places, driving in hard environments, and they are taking a toll on the vehicle. I think that from my side we have covered the Hardap region as far as we can."
