People returning to various destinations in the country's southern parts are stranded at the Harare resting complex and the Okatana service stations at Oshakati in the Oshana Region, waiting for long-distance buses to arrive.

At this time of year, many people who spent their holidays in the northern regions with their loved ones find it challenging to acquire transport back to work, as the high demand for transport cannot be absorbed by long-distance buses at once.

They are once again calling on those in the transportation business to increase buses or opt to hire extra buses, especially in January.

Some people are complaining of increased bus fees this time around, while others are willing to pay whatever fees they need as long as they arrive at their duty stations
