As the country mourns the passing of the Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma, church leaders keep him and his family in their prayers, reminding churchgoers of the significant role he played during the liberation struggle and after Namibia's independence.
Pastor Albertus Rooi said the Founding President was a hero in Namibia not just for his role during the liberation struggle, but also for his determination to ensure equal rights for all Namibians regardless of their ethnicity.
Churchgoers were also deeply saddened after hearing the news about the passing of Dr. Sam Nujoma.
They expressed their gratitude to Nujoma for his long fight against apartheid and sent their condolences to his family.
