Erongo Governor Neville Andre has urged all Namibians to unite in support of the newly sworn-in first female president, Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

Andre emphasised the importance of national unity as the country enters this historic new chapter under female leadership.

He called on all citizens to rally behind the new president and her government and ensure that Namibia continues to progress and thrive.

In addition, Andre extended his heartfelt congratulations to all Namibians in celebration of the country's 35th Independence Anniversary. 

He wished everyone a joyous and meaningful commemoration of this significant milestone in Namibia's history.

As the nation moves forward, Andre's call for solidarity echoes the hopes and aspirations of many Namibians for a prosperous future under Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah's leadership.

The Mayor of Swakopmund, Blasius !Goraseb, has expressed excitement and optimism about the historic moment, as Namibia will be introducing its first female president, Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

!Goraseb shared his joy over this significant development in the country's history, emphasising his readiness to collaborate with the new president and her leadership team. 

He highlighted that his primary focus will be to work alongside Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah to improve the livelihoods of Swakopmund residents.
