President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah arrived in Windhoek today after concluding a state visit to China.
The President and her delegation spent a week in China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Upon her arrival, Dr Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasised the significance of the state visit.

The Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Sanet Steenkamp, has called for stronger educational cooperation with China.
Dr. Steenkamp, is currently in China as part of the official delegation accompanying President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on a state visit.
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has thrown government support behind Namibian companies seeking to establish businesses abroad, promising to confront barriers that stand in the way of investment and profit repatriation.
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has tasked Namibian businesses with developing bankable projects that can unlock and attract Chinese investment, translating to sustained economic growth.
Artificial intelligence must create jobs rather than replace workers and should help alleviate Namibia’s unemployment crisis.
That is the position President Netumbo Nandi‑Ndaitwah is taking as the country secures a N$240 million investment from China for its Smart City pilot project.
