The Fishrot accused will hear today if their case will continue to be heard at the Otjozondjupa Courtroom, which is situated at the Windhoek Correctional Facility.

In his application, Sacky Shanghala, one of the accused, complained about the burglar bars behind which the accused were kept; authorities have since removed the bars.

In his claim, the former minister is asking that tables and suitable chairs with backrests, a bookstand, Wi-Fi access, and electric points be made available for the accused persons in the courtroom for the duration of the trial.

He argues that these amenities will make it possible for the accused persons to adequately facilitate preparation for trial, before and during the trial.
