The three boys who tragically died from a lightning strike earlier this month were buried on Saturday in Katenture village, Mukwe Constituency, Kavango East Region.

The boys were Frans Thinyemba (14), Matamu Nyambi (4), and Dinyando Kathumbi (5).

Damian Maghambayi, the Chairperson of the Kavango East Regional Council, stated that the government intervened to support the family and ensure the boys received a dignified burial.

This assistance included constructing the graves, providing coffins, and supplying food.
