The Windhoek High Court has postponed its judgement in the application by Fishrot accused Nigel van Wyk, who is seeking to have nine charges against him dismissed.
The ruling, which was initially expected today, will now be delivered on May 9, as the court indicated the judgement had not yet been finalised.
Van Wyk, a former personal assistant to one of the central figures in the Fishrot corruption scandal, filed a review application challenging the charges levelled against him. He maintains that the charges are unfounded and constitute an abuse of process.
The charges in question stem from Van Wyk’s alleged role in the multimillion-dollar Fishrot scandal.
