The Public Service Commission has affirmed its support for President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah's vision for the development of the country, as well as the need for effective public administration.

Public Service Commissioners, led by Chairperson Salmaan Jacobs, provided this assurance during a courtesy call on President Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House.

"We have carefully listened to your vision relating to public service and good governance, including effective service delivery to our people. Your Excellency, the vision that you have shared on various platforms since assuming office in March gives us comfort that we will have support in achieving better public service management and that the only aim we all have is to serve our people."

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, said, "As the Public Service Commissioners, I know that the whole government administration falls on your shoulders to guide and direct, ensuring that we are served by staff with the necessary skills who are highly motivated. If you separate the two, the outcome could be disastrous, but with appropriate skills and motivation, one is expected to produce desirable results."
