Family and friends gathered at St. Michael Angelina Church in Windhoek to celebrate the life of Fiina Nghifikwa.

The 39-year-old Nghifikwa died last Tuesday after she was shot and killed during an armed robbery in Wanaheda.

Nghifikwa and a friend were reportedly lured to the location under the pretence of viewing a room for rent.

The two women were picked up by an individual who had promised to drive them to the property for viewing.

While inside the vehicle, the suspect reportedly held them at gunpoint and robbed them of their belongings.

Nghifikwa was shot during the ordeal and rushed to the Katutura Health Centre, where she was declared dead upon arrival.

The late owner of a fashion business, September Creations, was described as a caring, loving, and selfless person who put others first.

Inna Kashihakumwa spoke on behalf of Nghifikwa's parents.

"We, the parents of Fiina, are deeply hurt, we are mourning our Fiina, we are mourning our peaceful daughter. We will never forget her, we will not forget the good she did for us. Our Fiina was a responsible woman who took care of her siblings."

Fiina' sister, Emily Shifela, said, "Natangwe carried herself with a quiet strength and unwavering integrity. Miss Misadventures, Natangwe loved having a good time. She had a way of turning ordinary moments into something beautiful. It was mostly through her that we got together as siblings or family to have a good time and laughter. During her high school years, Natangwe had an eye for beauty and a passion for self-expression."

Nghifikwa leaves behind a five-year-old son, who was with her when the incident occurred.
