Twelve learners who recently travelled to China on an educational tour are back from the excursion.
The tour was aimed at exposing the learners to cutting-edge technology achievements and promoting cross-cultural academic engagement.
The Managing Director of China Nuclear Corporation Namibia Mining Limited, Frank Chang, welcomed back the learners, noting that China's nuclear science and technology industry was honoured to provide an exchange platform for Namibian future stars to gain a deeper understanding of nuclear energy.
"We are deeply aware that the future of nuclear energy lies in young people and in international cooperation. Just as Namibia possesses abundant uranium resources and China possesses advanced nuclear technology."
He further states that the cooperation between China and Namibia will foster new developments in clean energy and yield even greater benefits.
"I hope you will transform the gains from this study tour into a driving force for national development and shine brightly both in the nuclear energy sector and on the broader scientific and technological stage."
He emphasised that China National Nuclear Corporation remains committed to comprehensive cooperation with Namibia, including talent development, technology transfer, and industrial collaboration, to jointly contribute to Namibia's clean energy development.
