A considerable number of residents in Rundu gathered at Romanus Kampungu Secondary School to participate in the 13th Annual National Fish Consumption Market Day.

The event provided attendees with the opportunity to purchase fish, access services from various institutions, and receive demonstrations on fish preparation from culinary experts.

The Minister of Gender Equality and Social Welfare, Dr. Emma Kantema, highlighted that the Market Day aims to bring fish closer to the community, strengthen the relationship between the fishing industry and local residents, and demonstrate how fisheries can contribute to both economic opportunity and social well-being.
