Namibian Police Deputy Inspector General for Administration, Major General Anne-Marie Nainda, has described Commissioner Johanna Ngondo's appointment as the new |Khomas Regional Commander as a milestone. 

Inspector General Joseph Shikongo appointed Commissioner Johanna Ngondo as the new regional commander, effective 1 November.

Ngondo becomes the first woman to lead the |Khomas police.
