The Electoral Commission of Namibia's Oshana Regional Office has been a busy place this week, as teams finalise their logistical preparations before voters head to the polls next Wednesday, the 26th of November.
Although preparations are almost finalised, there are still a few logistical hiccups that need to be resolved before the voting day.
Amon Hambunga said the ECN has acquired about 330 cars, which were distributed to ease the burden experienced in the last election.
Drawing lessons from last year's Presidential and National Assembly elections, the ECN says it has made some significant changes to avoid long queues and overcrowding.
The region will now have 206 fixed polling stations compared to 180 last year.
