The |Khomas Region has recorded a notable improvement in the 2025 Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) Level results, climbing to fourth place nationally for full-time candidates based on cumulative achievement at Grade C and above. 

This marks a significant rise from eighth position in 2024.

In terms of progression to the Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) level, |Khomas also secured a place in the top three regions, ranking third nationally with a progression rate of 38%.

Regional performance was calculated against the total number of candidates registered per region, ensuring equitable comparison.

Private schools in the region also performed well, with St Joseph's Private School ranking seventh nationally among the top-performing private high schools at Ordinary Level.

At the learner level, Windhoek High School produced individual results, with Lené Cloete and Anitha De Waal placing ninth and tenth, respectively, in the national top 10. 

Sylvia Haufiku further strengthened the region's performance by securing 17th place, bringing the total number of |Khomas learners in the national top 20 to three.

At the NSSCAS level, A. Shipena Senior Secondary School ranked seventh nationally among public schools, marking a major milestone, as the school last achieved a top ranking a decade ago.

Overall, |Khomas ranked ninth nationally for NSSCAS full-time candidates, stepping up a notch from tenth place in 2024. 

In the private school category, St Joseph's Roman Catholic School placed fourth nationally.

Several |Khomas learners also featured in the top 20 NSSCAS candidates based on best performance in three subjects.

They include Stefan Becker of Windhoek High School in seventh place, Alazinia Lhemba of Delta Secondary School in 16th, and Imani Weilbach of Windhoek High School in 17th place.
