Zambia's Ministry of Tourism has issued a high alert for a herd of elephants that has crossed its border with Namibia and Botswana.
The alert posting says a large herd of elephants has crossed into Zambia and is moving within parts of Livingstone and Kazungula, with the latter town sharing boundaries with Namibia, Botswana and parts of Zimbabwe.
Residents in these areas are advised to stay alert and exercise caution.
The ministry is further pleading with the public to widely share the information to avoid a possible catastrophe.
