NBC Director General Menesia Muinjo hosted Miss Namibia 2015, Steffi Van Wyk-Brink, her husband, South African actor Clint Brink, and Botswana beauty queen Lebopo Bulayani.

Speaking during the meeting in the Cullinan Street boardroom, Muinjo said NBC is inspired by the two beauty queens' achievements and highlighted opportunities for collaboration in mentorship programmes, drama, film production, and showcasing Namibia’s cultural diversity beyond pageantry.

Miss Namibia National Director Beaulah Beukes-Boois said the visit is also centered on partnerships ahead of the Miss Teen Namibia preliminaries this weekend and the Miss Namibia Top 10 announcement.

“Today was basically just for us to have a courtesy visit to meet with the DG and our staff as well and then to see which other areas of collaboration,” she said.

Steffi Van Wyk-Brink is one of the judges for Miss Teen Namibia, while Bulayani will judge Miss Namibia.

Botswana’s beauty queen concluded the meeting by presenting the Director General with her newly authored book, titled Orphaned.
