Vice President Lucia Witbooi returned from Nairobi after attending the Africa Forward Summit co-hosted by France and Kenya.

She held high-level meetings on the blue economy, highlighting Namibia’s shift from “catch and ship” to “catch, process, package, and brand” by 2030.

Witbooi invited business partners to join in value addition of Namibia’s mineral resources, emphasizing, “The partnerships must prioritize skills development, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and innovation.”
