The Namibia Film Commission (NFC) is inviting all eligible Namibian filmmakers and film professionals seeking support to attend international film festivals and markets to apply.

Participation in international film festivals and film markets is important for cultural, economic, diplomatic, and industry development.

These platforms give filmmakers, producers, and governments opportunities to showcase national stories, attract investment, and build international partnerships.

For this reason, the Film Commission is inviting eligible Namibian citizens and filmmakers with projects in development, production or completed work to apply.

NFC will prioritise applicants with projects in competition or selected for screening. 

The support will cover return travel, accreditation, visas, and a subsistence allowance. 
Applicants are required to submit an online motivational letter, budget breakdown, ID copy, and proof of selection, if applicable. 

Festivals and markets should be held between May 2026 and March 2027.
Submission must reach the NFC office two to three months prior to the festival or markets.
