The Capricorn Eagles have secured their place in the final of the Women's T20I Quadrangular Series after completing the group stage unbeaten with six victories from six matches. Namibia booked their place in Thursday's final after defeating Hong Kong, China by eight wickets in their final group match at the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground.

Hong Kong posted 120 for six in their allotted overs, setting Namibia a target of 121 runs for victory. The Eagles reached the target through a dominant batting performance led by captain Suné Wittmann, who remained unbeaten on 59 runs from 38 deliveries. Her match-winning innings earned her the Player of the Match award and confirmed Namibia's position at the top of the standings. The result follows a strong week of performances, including Monday's six-wicket victory over Uganda, where a solid partnership between Arrasta Diergaardt and Mekelaye Mwatile helped seal the win.

Captain Suné Wittmann praised the squad's well-rounded performances across all departments throughout the series."I am super proud of the team. In the past, we excelled in some areas while struggling in others, but in this series, every department has delivered. Previously, we struggled with our batting, but now different players are stepping up each game rather than relying on just one or two individuals. There are still areas we want to improve, but we can take many positives into the final."

All-rounder Eveleen Kejarukua emphasized the squad's resilience and strong team spirit heading into the championship match."This series is very important to us because it shows how capable we are of bouncing back and fighting together as a team.
