Two workers have died after allegedly being exposed to suspected toxic gas while working inside a manhole at Gammas Water Care Works on Friday.
Police stated that the three employees of Cape Advance Engineering became unconscious while working inside the confined space, after which water began flowing into the manhole.
One worker survived and was taken to hospital.
The deceased were identified as 39-year-old Genis Hendrick Ian and Michael Engelbrecht.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the death of 49-year-old Titus Shikudule, whose body was found hanging at a house in Ombili on Friday.
Police are investigating a case of concealment of birth after a foetus, believed to be about five months old, was found in a skip bin along Mungunda Street in Katutura on Sunday.
Police say an empty-bottle collector discovered the remains and alerted authorities.
No suspect has been identified.
Police are also investigating two separate housebreaking cases in the Katutura area, in which property worth N$12,000 and N$22,100 was allegedly stolen.
No arrests or recoveries had been made at the time of the report.
