The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) has appointed new board members for NamPost.

The board's term is effective for three years, starting from 1st August 2026. 
The announcement was made in a media statement by NamPost. 

Simeon Amunkente, who serves as Chairperson, and Fabian Shaanika, the board's Deputy Chairperson, are the only members retained from the previous board.

Other members of the board are Lydia Nghaamwa, Naftaline Tjitemisa and Petrus Hiwilepo.
Dr. Amunkete committed his tenure to providing sound governance and support towards NamPost's mandate and long-term sustainability.
