The Victory Youth Group organised an awareness march to encourage young people affected by depression, alcohol abuse, thoughts of self-harm and other mental health challenges to speak out and seek help when necessary.

The march was held in Windhoek under the theme “Mega Help Awareness March” and coincided with the National Prayer Day.

VYG Coordinator Billy Haoseb said the group had answered Vice President Lucia Witbooi’s call for the nation to stand together and provide guidance to communities in need of support in addressing depression, alcohol abuse, and other mental health challenges.
