Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) Chief Executive Officer Martin Inkumbi says the opening of the Ondangwa regional office is an important milestone in his instruction's commitment to taking services closer to its members, pensioners, annuitants, beneficiaries and stakeholders.

He says GIPF remains committed not only to safeguarding the retirement savings of its members but also to contributing to economic development.

Inkumbi says in the Oshana region alone GIPF invested approximately N$466,9 million spanning housing finance, land servicing, health care infrastructure, SME and property development and retail infrastructure.

The investment reflects the pension fund's confidence in the region's potential and commitment to creating lasting values for its members and communities.

His institution will remain a pension fund that services its members with excellence and integrity.

"Together let us continue building a GIPF that is closer to its members, responsive to their needs and committed to Namibia's development."

The Chairperson of the GIPF Board of Trustees, Penda Ithindi, says the centre symbolises that their members receive the care, service and support they deserve.

The building houses a state-of-the-art data centre to ensure that the integrity of the information entrusted to GIPF remains secure, accurate and protected at all times.

"The design concepts of the GIPG Ondangwa regional office are based on the image of a person with open arms, reflecting GIPF's member-centric approach and our employee's commitment to service delivery excellence, attention to detail and dedication to serving our members."
