The acting Principal of Omuhaturua Primary School, Rosewietta Uanivi, commended the Catherine Bullen Foundation for drilling a borehole and constructing a dining room.
In addition, the foundation is expected to complete the construction of an extra hostel block at the school next year.
She emphasised that when there was no dining hall during the rainy season, learners struggled.
"Some of the challenges that we were facing were water. We did not have any boreholes, so it was difficult to get water from the community borehole... and now, through the years, we have been using that, and last year we started a process of electrifying the borehole, so it's all now under the school."
Uanivi says that, through the efforts of their late school principal, Steve Kavari, the International School of Paris has agreed to construct an additional hostel block.
Uanivi also applauded the Otjimanangombe community for their contributions towards the school's development.
The Omuhaturua Primary School has ten teachers and 310 learners.
